There…. that was the link you really need to follow to go enter yourself into the giveaway at the Music App Blog for Igor’s music apps. Igor has an entire suite of apps for musicians, teachers, students and people who just plain want to make music using iPad. I have written about these apps before and use several of them almost every time I want to put a recording of one of my musical ensembles on the web, be it just for their evaluation or as a recording parents can download and keep forever.
The Apps I own and use:
Audio Mastering app is at the top of my “must have apps” for music teachers when they are working with recordings from their ensembles, soloists, rehearsals, and performances. It is so fast and easy these days to record a rehearsal of an ensemble and then put it out there for students to evaluate themselves with. Using Audio Mastering is a quick and effective way to get every possible drop of great sound from those recordings. Even without any idea of what you are doing or any professional training on what’s going on in the background with this app it is easy to make a recording that is obviously better sounding than what you started with!
AltiSpace – Convolution Reverb gives you the sounds of famous reverb equipment right inside of your iPad. This app supports Inter-App Audio and also Audiobus. Really helps to give your recordings that extra touch of reverb when recording or after recording.
The two apps I don’t own but are high on my “Wish List”:
Master Record app allows you to record from any external audio source into you iPad and then edit parts of the track, cut, copy, fade-in, fade-out and apply effects that give your music warmth and natural sounding quality.
Master FX is a multipurpose effects processor providing a wide range of high-quality and creative effects options for audio processing. This app supports Audiobus 2.x in the Input, Effect and Output slots, which makes it a stellar app to use in conjunction with other apps during your times of creative music making!
